Problem: Rubber joint sealant became torn and ripped from traffic etc. A fast durable repair was sought instead of replacement of the joint seal.

Application Situation
OEM expansion joint filler needed repairs to stop leaks. Manufacturer did not provide a repair system.
Application Method
Application carried out using modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-9. Areas were cleaned and roughened up using the Belzona roughing brush. Belzona® 2911 was applied and followed by Belzona® 2311.

After success rebuilding concrete bridge noses with Belzona® 4111, agency turned to us for help on this problem. Without this repair, the complete joint seal would have had to be removed which would have been expensive and time consuming.
