Application Situation

Sea water flange on Ro-Ro ship.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet GSS-01. Damaged flange surface was abraded to achieve a mechanical bond. The surface was conditioned with Belzona 2911 and allowed the cure. Then Belzona 2211 was applied and allowed to cure.

In the tight calendar, the shipowner had no time and staff to dismantle and repair the flange. With Belzona, the repair was carried out in-situ and quickly.
