Problem:

Erosion/corrosion on the cylinder block behind the cylinder liners allowed engine coolant to leak into the lubricating oil causing an engine failure.

Substrate:

Cast Iron

 
 

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet ENC-6. Particular attention paid to removing entrained antifreeze before preparing surface and applying Belzona.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

A new engine block would cost $127,000.00. The repair used less than $100.00 of Belzona product and was done in 4 hours.
