Problem:

The customer wanted to coat concrete sleepers with a chemical-resistant coating due to being in close proximity to chemical storage units.

Belzona 4311

Application Method:

The concrete bases were grit blasted to achieve a cleanliness of SA2.5 and a surface profile of 75 microns. Once prepared, the sleepers were coated with 2x coats of Belzona 4311. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-03.

Belzona Facts:

The sleepers serves as a semi-permanent bund area for the operating system, as various chemicals can leak out, the bases were coated with Belzona 4311.
