Application Situation

A heat exchanger had suffered damage from erosion & corrosion in service.

Application Method

The existing coating was removed during the grit blast preparation. The metal was prepared to SA2.5 & 75 microns. Any areas of metal loss were repaired using Belzona 1311 Ceramic R metal. Two coats of Belzona 1321 Ceramic S Metal were then applied for future erosion/corrosion protection.
