Belzona Repairs Chemical Storage Room Floor

Application Situation:

A floor area in a chemical storage room had become worn over time due to both mechanical and chemical attack.

Problem:

Steel tiles had failed in one area of a chemical storage area, leaving damaged concrete. Any repairs needed to be able to protect against water and general chemical use.

Application Method:

All loose and friable materials were removed from the target area, using a wire brush, soft brush and compressed air. The area was conditioned using Belzona 4911 (TX-Conditioner). Following the conditioning, Belzona 4131 was applied, and were finished level with the rest of the floor.

Belzona Facts:

This is quite an old site which has many areas of repairs to carry out. The costs of employing specialist concrete repair contractors isn't an option with the amount they have to do.
