Belzona Facts
Since 1997, Belzona 1591 has been used to coat many of the pumps in a sulphur pit. When this product was replaced by Belzona 1593, the client was keen to utilise this improved solution however there was minimal testing available in this type of situation. This pump was originally coated in 2017, when the pumps were revisited in 2022, there was little damage to the coating. The client chose to fully recoat the pipes even though a small repair would have been sufficient.
