Application Situation:

Stainless steel herbicide tank

 
 

Problem:

Porous welds in stainless steel tank. Herbicide is expensive and very slippery. Not only was leaking tank an environmental hazard but a general safety hazard as well.

 
 

Products:

Belzona® 4301 (Magma CR1 Hi-Build)
 

Substrate:

Stainless Steel

 
 

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet TCC-1. The tank was drained and rinsed. A stainless steel tank cleaner was used to clean the surface. After preparing the surface, Two coats of Belzona® 4301 were applied to the weld seams.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Belzona sealed the leaking tanks helping the owner avoid fines and lawsuits. Belzona® 4301 is resistant to a wide variety of chemical and was well suited for this repair.
