Problem: Galvanic corrosion caused by the failure of the insulating gasket caused severe corrosion and under cut the existing glass flake coating. Base material was Carbon Steel plates were Titanium.

Application completed in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet VPF-13.
Belzona Facts
Weld repair would have damaged more of the existing coating and onsite machining would have had to be used to reinstate the sealing faces and the bore of the nozzles. Time was key factor as this was an emergency repair situation.
