Belzona® Seals Holes In Sprinkler Tank

Application Situation:

Five meter diameter fire sprinkler, water storage tank.



The tank was suffering from corrosion which had affected the wall thickness of the tank. In several areas this had caused holes in the tank which were now leaking. As this tank was a storage tank for water to be used for fire fighting it had to be structurally intact.

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How system leaflet TCC-1


Belzona Facts:

The waste facility has to have the tank in service at all time to meet insurance and fire regulations. Belzona offered a quicker and more cost effective solution than traditional methods such as welding. The application was completed in one day.
