Damage to conrete window sills due to corrosion of reinforcement bars.

 
 

Problem:

A childcare centre were having safety issues with pieces of concrete falling from window sills due to the spalling concrete.

 
 

Products:

Belzona® 4141 (Magma Build) 

Belzona® 5151 (Hi-Build Cladding)

 

Substrate:

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with the Belzona Know-How System Leaflets WPA-1 and WPA-4.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

This customer chose to use Belzona to reduce cost and the disruption, the alternative was to remove the windows, re-cast the sills and then replace once they had cured, this would have resulted in the Childcare centre being closed for over 4 weeks.
