Application Situation
A Porcelain Transformer Bush was being replaced in the Substation.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-11a.
Belzona Facts
While the transformer was being changed an emergency generator had been hired at a cost of £50,000 per week. To change the transformer would mean at least a further 4 weeks work and hire charge, assuming a spare transformer was available. Belzona repair took 12 hours at a cost of £1,000.
