Application Situation:

New Ingersoll-Rand pumps costing over $8,000.00 failed in six months.

 
 

Problem:

Failure due to high cavitation caused by bad suction conditions that could not be changed.

Belzona® 1311 (Ceramic R Metal)

Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide)

 

Substrate:

Cast iron

 
 

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-3 and CEP-5.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Slightly over a days work and under $2,000 of Belzona, the first pump was returned to service. A follow up was done in January 2008 and revealed this pump as well as others done subsequent to this one were still running like new.
