Problem: 98% Sulphuric acid leaking from the pump had damaged the grout between the acid resistant tiles and attacked the concrete beneath.

Application Method
After removing the tiles and damaged concrete the plinth was rebuilt to the original size with Belzona® 4111. Two coats of Belzona® 4341 were then applied to offer long term, hot acid protection of the plinth.
Belzona Facts
The Belzona solution provides a seamless barrier to the acids and has no weak spots. Belzona® 4341 can resist up to 75% H2SO4 at 90°C.
