Application Situation

Hydraulic dynamometer used for engine tests.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-1, CEP-3 and CEP-5. After the profile of the impeller and the casing had been rebuilt with Belzona® 1121, the whole dynamometer was protected with Belzona 5811. Finally Belzona® 1321 was used for extra protection for the casing and impeller blades.

The customer was very pleased that Belzona repair saved them from a very costly part replacement. Total savings was one million GBP.
