Back pressure meant repair had to be carried out live and to a very tight schedule. Adjacent section of pipe had previously been repaired with Belzona. | | | Products:Belzona® 1111 (Super Metal) Belzona 1221® (Super E Metal) Belzona 1291® (ES Metal) | | | Substrate:Steel | | | Application Method:Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-11a. After temporarily stemming leak with Belzona® 1291, Belzona® 1221 was applied to give additional strength before grit blastiong and applying a Belzona® 1111 wrap. Belzona® 1341 was applied over the top to provide corrosion protection to exposed section of pipe. | | | Belzona Facts:Just 2 hours after vcompletinmg the repair, the full pressure was restored.
