Application Situation:

Non-return flap valves for water pumps.

Problem:

The valves required a small, custom seal to prevent water re-entering the pump. These seals were not available to purchase due to the design.

Application Method:

The application was carried out using a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet GSS-1. Extreme care was taken during this complicated application, as the photos illustrate.

Belzona Facts:

The performance of the gaskets is such that this has become standard in the production with this client. There has been no alternative to the customer at the time, and over 50 have been produced to date.
