Belzona® Prevents Leaks Into Electrical Room

Application Situation:

A leak had developed between the brick wall and the parking garage floor.



The leak was over the hotel electrical room causing periodic power disruptions.



Belzona 3121 (MR7 Membrane)

Application Method:

Application was carried out using a modified version of Belzona System Leaflet RPA-1. The area along the wall and concrete floor was ground with a Vac-grinder to ensure a good surface for bonding beforec applying the Belzona 3121 system.


Belzona Facts:

This use of Belzona 3121  allowed for a quick turn around and minimal disruption to the hotel vehicle traffic in the area.

1. Surface preparation underway 2. The area was masked off before the 1st coat of Belzona 3121 was applied 3. A 2nd coat of Belzona 3121 was applied along with reinforcing sheet to ensure that the gap was adequately bridged. A 3rd coat was applied to complete the application.
