Application Situation
Rock crusher shaft.
Application Method
A trained machine shop fabricated a split former to exact dimensions and the shaft was quickly repaired in-situ with Belzona 1111. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-2.
Belzona Facts
The plant in outage and the annual inspection of the rock crusher revealed that the shaft needed to be rebuilt with Belzona. This standard repair was easily accomplished by the in-house maintenance crew under the supervision of the Belzona Technical Consultant, with tremendous savings in time and money.
