Problem: The bucket bosses were worn, causing the shaft to become loose and move. A loose fit causes faster wear and difficulties for the operator to be accurate.

Application Situation
Worn bucket bosses on backhoe and front loaders.
Application Method
A grinder and suitable cleaner/degreaser were used to ground down and clean the bucket bosses. They were then aligned on the bench and tack welded. Then, Belzona 9411 was applied to the shaft. Belzona 1311 was mixed and applied on the inside of the hole as well as the shaft. The shaft was then placed through the holes, making sure it was all pushed into the gaps, and wiped off the excess, then allowed to cure. They did the same for several more applications. Even 6 months later, the bucket boss has been working very well.
Belzona Facts
The only other option was to replace the parts, which would cost $2000 for each. With Belzona, time and money were saved.
