Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet VPF-11a. Belzona® 4301 was applied with reinforcement plates over the holed areas. Further Belzona® 3121 with Reinforcing Sheet was applied over the severely corroded areas for protection and to prevent gas leakage.
Belzona Facts
Belzona was choosen as a simple and cost effective repair approach with fast return of the equipment to operation. The conventional repair by welding was not an option in this situation because of the hot work danger.
