Problem: The tank had not had protection for years, and as a result the concrtete walls and floors were in a bad shape. Some sections showed eriosion as deep as 3'. Large mixer blades had cuased a severe erosion the tanks' structure. The time was of the essence because of the rainy season.

Application Situation
Oxygenation tank at a wastewater plant.  Customer required protection of this tank for years to come. Time was of the essence because rainy season was very close.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with modified versions of Belzona Know-How System Leaflets TCC-9 and TCC-15. First, the damaged concrete areas were rebuilt with Belzona 4124. Once the surfaces were restored, they were coated with Belzona 5811. Then, Belzona 9811 alumina tiles sheets were placed on top of Belzona 5811, and grouted with Belzona 1812.
