Problem: New accommodation needed to be installed, however, the client was concerned about the problems associated with welding the framework feet to the deck.

Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet GSS-9.
Belzona Facts
Due to the extended time after alignment/sealing to the bonding phase nitrogen was used to prevent flash rusting in the void to be filled with the Belzona® 5811. To combat the very cold conditions in the North Sea, January (0°C) heat blankets were used to allow the works to be completed.
Module in place for 9 years weighing around 145 tonnes.
