Problem: Due to an important flowrate of water from the river nearby, the surface of this distribution chamber, which had not been protected before, was badly damaged and needed to be rebuilt. The sharp angles of the concrete inside the chamber cause a resistance to the water flow, besides, the steel surface is badly corroded.

Application Situation
Steel and concrete surfaces of a distribution chamber.
Application Method
All the damaged parts of concrete were removed, then both substrates were grit blasted. The concrete substrate was rebuilt using Belzona 4111 using a modified version of Belzona System Leaflet FPA-1. Belzona 1341 was then applied on the steel and the concrete according to the Belzona System Leaflet CEP-10.
