Problem: Severe erosion corrosion of port plates, body and rotor caused by poor quality sealing water resulting in corrosion, plus carry over of diatomatious earth causing erosion.

Application Situation

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How leaflets PDP-5 and FBC-11. Port plates were restored by forming correct dimensions and critical areas on the body were re-built and machined to size before coating with Belzona® 1321
Belzona Facts
Replacement costs were over $12,000.00. Belzona application was aproximately 1/3rd this and more importantly Belzona repairs on vacuum pumps have been shown to far outlast the original equipment life.
