Problem: Roof had started to leak due to holes in the rubber membrane. The customer wanted the roof fixed quickly and without tearing off the old roof.

Application Situation
3,000 sq.ft (270m²) rubber membrane roof on office building. the roof was 20 year old with ballast rocks
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-6 & -8. The ballast was removed and the rubber membrane pressure washed. The rubber membrane was then mechanically fastened and rubber "peel-and-stick" pads were placed over each mechanical fastener washer. Fully reinforced Belzona Flexible Membrane System then applied using Belzona® 3921 as Conditioner.

Customer was very satisfied with the project and said that we "...had no idea how much money we saved the company". This project was done in 4 days with 4 people. If the roof had been "Torn-Off" and a new roof installed it would have taken about twice as long and about twice as much labor.
