Application Situation
Off loading hose damage.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SOS-12. The surface was roughened before the application of Belzona 2911, followed by the reinforced system of Belzona 2211 to the damaged areas.
Belzona Facts
The quick decision to make the repair with Belzona prevented the seawater to continue into the inside of the hose, which could lead to the disruption of the hose and oil leak. The repair was made in just four hours.
