Application Method
After removing existing rubber covering and old adhesive and cleaning the concrete, two coats of Belzona® 5231 were applied with additional Belzona® 9221 (Surefoot Aggregate) sprinkled onto top the coat to provide additional non-slip properties.
Belzona Facts
Application was completed in the three-day window in which closure of the footbridge was allowed. When examined recently, the coating is still providing a safe walking surface for pedestrian.
