问题: Blast Furnace gases and particulates had corroded the original venturi scrubber. Items were building up on the steel and the lower portions were eroding due to abrasion.

工况条件
New blast furnace Scrubber being fabricated and in need of corrosion and erosion protection.
施工方法
Application was carried outin accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5. Belzona® 5811 was sprayed over the entire vessel as a holding primer. On the intake of the vessel Belzona® 1341 was used for build up problems. Belzona® 1321 was used in the high erosion areas.

Due to Belzona® 1341 lasting in the piping going to the scrubber, the client asked for the Belzona® 1341 to coat the entire scrubber vessel. Belzona® 1321 used to give extra abrasion resistance where required.
