Problem: The ducting had been installed early 2011 and due to the nature of their process/products the pipe elbows had worn within a short period of time.

Application Situation
Ductwork  elbows in pneumatic processed paper handling system.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet SHM-8. The holed elbows were repaired using cut to size steel plates, formed and bonded over the holes using Belzona® 1111. The internal bend section was then lined with Belzona® 1812 to provide optimum abrasion resistance.
Belzona Facts
Pipe elbows have been and continue to be protected with Belzona, increasing the working life of the system. As a result the customer has saved money on replacement costs and downtime.
