Problem: One of the joining clips came apart, hooked on the structure and tore away a piece of the belt. If it was left alone, it was likely to continue tearing.

Application Situation
Conveyor belt.
Application Method
The belt was roughened and Belzona 2911 was applied and allowed to cure. A bond breaker was taped over the joint clips to allow movement. Belzona 2311 was mixed and applied with Belzona 9341 to coat the joint and seal the damaged area. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-4.
Belzona Facts
The only alternative was to replace a small section of the belt, which would take much longer than the Belzona 2311 repair.
