Application Situation
Circulating water pump in a potato processing plant.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP 1 & CEP 3. Holes and impeller vanes were patched with Belzona 1311 and a reinforcing sheet. The high spots were ground down to smooth the surface and Belzona 1341 was brushed on in two coats.
Belzona Facts
Rebuilding the impeller was a fraction of the replacement cost. The rebuilt impeller was put on the shelf as a spare.
