Problem: All the stone steps had become badly worn, uneven and sloping towards the front. This was a safety hazard. Due to the construction of the stone steps, it was not possible to repair with other traditional methods.

Badly worn stone steps.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1. Wooden formers were installed to help level the steps evenly.

Belzona Facts

The application was done during Normal working hours closing only parts of the school, The other option was to remove and change the stone stairs and to do this they would have had to close the school during the construction period and would have been far more costly than the Belzona option.
