Problem: Jet Tubes were subject to cavitation from constant water flow. Since this type of jet tube units is not manufactured anymore, it was critical for the customer to extend the life of the equipment.

Application Method

After grit blasting and washing the units in a salt away solution to remove embedded salts the units were cleaned with Belzona 9111. Once fully prepped Belzona 1311 was used to fill the cavitated areas, then two coats of Belzona 1331 were brushed on for full protection against further damage.

Belzona Facts

These particular Jet Tubes are no longer made so to be able to repair and protect and extend the life was critical to the customer. The customer was familiar with Belzona, and was very happy with the outcome.
