Problem: The existing joint material had failed resulting in a route for water to leak to the building below and was also creating a trip hazard.

Application Situation
Failed Expansion joint at a Shopping Centre.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets FPA-5 and FPA-6. The existing joint material was removed and the edges of the joint rebuilt using Belzona 4111. Once this had cured sufficiently, the joint was conditioned using Belzona 2911 (QD Conditioner) before Belzona 2221 was poured to seal the joint.
