Problem: The concrete floor of this gas station was attacked by gas and needed to be resurfaced and protected. Because it can easily get slippery it also needed a slip-resistant system.

Application Situation
The concrete floor of this gas station was damaged, greasy and slippery.
Application Method
The floor was steam cleaned the grit blasted. The concrete has then been resurfaced with Belzona 4151 and covered with Silica 0.5-1.25 using Belzona Know-How system leaflet FPA-8. 4 hours later, Belzona 5811 was applied on top of the silica to complete the non-slip system and protect the surface from hydrocarbons.

The customer is really satisfied by this rapid solution which looks very neat. He is also happy to have a system that will be resistant to hydrocarbons. Other competitors were contacted for this work, but they were not sure bout the resistance of their system, so the customer preferred to go for Belzona.
