Problem: Continual ice build up in the valley forced water under the roof panels due to poor roof design, causing leaks. Someone decided to remove the ice with an ax, causing holes and more leaks.

Application Situation
Metal roof flashing.
Application Method
The flashing was properly cleaned and abraded. Belzona 3921 was brushed on followed by two coats of Belzona 3111 being applied with Belzona 9311, which was laid onto the substrate. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-8.
Belzona Facts
Replacing the flashing would have required the removal of most of the roof panels, a considerable expense. The customer was very satisfied with Belzona's solution.
