Problem: The concrete floor and joint nosings were badly damaged and the expansion joint was disbonding from the edges allowing water to leak to the lower level. As joint was in the main entrance to the shopping centre, it presented a serious trip hazard.

Application Situation
Damaged expansion joint in shopping centre main entrance.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FPA-1 & FPA 6.   The damaged concrete was ground out and replaced with Belzona 4111 then the existing expansion joint was replaced by pouring in Belzona 4521.

Customer was happy with repair as it eliminated the safety risk and was carried out with minimal disruption to the operation of the shopping centre.
