Application Situation
Wash down area floor at a facility manufacturing fasteners.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FPA-1 and FPA-3.
Belzona Facts
The Belzona® 4111 (Magma Quartz) was used to rebuid the cracks in the concrete and tie in the penetrations through the floor. After the initial cure, Belzona ® 5811 (Immersion Grade) was then used to seal the surface with two coats of beige. There are also many ground water inspection ports throughout, and the floor showed signs of deterioration after its first few years of operation, which is why they turned to Belzona.
