Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflet GSS-1. Two forming rings(inner and outer to the valve diameter) were used to create the diameter profile and top plate used to form actual sealing face.
Belzona Facts
New valves were not available so the sealing surfaces were removed and Belzona® 2131 moulded to the original sealing profile. Belzona provided fast return to service. The alternative hot vulcanization required special equipment and extra time.
