Problem: All ten heat exchangers had been replaced just one year ago. The covers were stainless steel but were welded with a carbon steel rod, setting up electrolysis. Replacements would take more than 3 months to build and a cost of downtime at $70,000.00 per day. With Belzona, all ten were rebuilt in just seven days. They were opened one year later and the heat exchangers were found to be in perfect condition.
