Problem: The pumps from one of this well-known amusement park’s water rides had badly corroded with severe loss of metal. The corrosion was so thick that the pumps required grit blasting three times to achieve a proper profile. A solution was sorely needed.

Application Situation
Upon inspection, the pump was taken out of service and the customer requested a Belzona consultant to provide a bid to remediate the equipment on-site.
Application Method
The most severe corrosion areas were repaired with Belzona 1121 followed by two coats of Belzona 1341 to provide a long-lasting, super slick surface. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-1 & CEP-10.
