Problem: A delivery truck had reversed into the wall of the shopping centre, damaging the wall and exposing the reinforcement.

Application Situation

Damaged wall at a local shopping centre

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System leaflet WPA-4. All loose material was removed and the exposed reinforcement bars cleaned to remove all rust. The remaining cracks in the wall were stabilised and then injected with the Belzona 4151. Once the Belzona 4151 had cured, the cracks were vee'd out and filled using the Belzona 4111. The damaged areas were also rebuilt using the Belzona 4111 to restore the original profile.

Belzona 4000 series products were chosen because of their fast curing, high strength properties that allowed the wall to be rebuilt back to better than its original condition
