Problem: Customer needed to keep pipe line in fixed position. To achieve this several sliding supports between bridge and pipe had to be installed. Welding was not possible as gas line was active. Each bridge has 16 such supports.

Application Method

Repairs were completed in accordance with Belzona Know-How System leaflet VPF-15.

Belzona Facts

Every support is "connected" with pipe line via the slide assembly. The slide assembly needed to be fixed to the pipeline. Belzona® 1111 provides high strength bond without the need for hotwork, allowing work to progress without disrupting gas supplies. Since 1998, 5 such bridges have had supports bonded with Belzona without a single problem in that time.
