Problem: The material used to seal the flashings on this firewall had become brittle and cracked, creating fissures for water to seep into the building. A solution was needed that was both flexible and UV stable to protect this pharmaceutical storage facility housing millions of dollars of product.

Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-8 using the fully reinforced Belzona 3111 system.

Due to past success with roof repairs for this pharmaceutical facility, Belzona was the confident choice. 850 linear feet of flashing was completely sealed and protected in two days. Inspected in 2012, the repair is still perfect.
