Application Situation
The home builders had constructed the garages of a new housing development with only a single skin of bricks. There had been several high-level complaints from the homeowners on the issue. The client originally tried a competitor material to rectify the issues but in many cases this product was ineffective!
Application Method
Belzona 5122 was applied in accordance to Belzona Know-How System Leaflet WPA-8. Protective sheeting and tape was applied to all areas not being treated such as paths, plant life and windows near the application area. Belzona 5122 was then diluted at a ratio of 7:1 and put into a standard sprayer. Belzona 5122 solution was then sprayed onto the brickwork. Starting at the lowest part of the wall and applying upwards towards the highest section.

The application was undertaken by Belzona, specialist contractors in the UK. The home builder was very pleased with the outcome of the treatment and has named Belzona as their preferred supplied of this type of repair material. Since this application, 50 garages on this development have been treated with several others across the UK also taking place.
