Application Situation

Repair of the trunnion section of a grinding mill

Application Method

Application carried out using a modified verision of system leaflet MPT-07. An MBX bristle blaster was used to prepare the surface, allowing the paste grade to adhere to the substrate. 17 Kg's of Belzona 1121 was then applied around the circumference of the trunnion section and smoothed out with an applicator to rebuild the lost materials.

Belzona Facts

The customer rang Belzona the night before asking for an emergency repair. Belzona arrived the following morning to carry out the repair and had the system back up and running that day.
