Problem: Determining that the open grates would be a safety hazard and untreated steel would be a slip hazard the engineers called Belzona for a solution. Samples were sent to the building inspector and he chose Belzona 4411 GranoGrip with Belzona 9211 Aggregate.

Application Situation
New construction of a medical facility. The plans called for open grates over the sidewalk drains. The building inspector rejected the open grates as a safety hazard, especially for high heel shoes.
Application Method
The 12 - 1' x 3' plates were grit blasted in the shop. Belzona 4411 was brush applied and Belzona 9211 pressed in over the whole surface.
