Application Method

New caisson section was fabricated for replacement and was grit blasted to SA 2.5 before being coated with Belzona 1391S. The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-2.

Belzona Facts

Continuous immersion in seawater and difficult access conditions means that caissons can be exposed to corrosive environments without any protection. Belzona 1391S was chosen for this problem due to its effective corrosion resistance in wet environments. It can be easily sprayed onto substrates which can reduce downtime.
