Application Situation
Hard mango pips were dimpling the shredder housing lid. Eventually, oversized pieces of Atchar were being caught up in the filtering screens.
Application Method
Application was completed in accordance with Belzona Know-How System leaflet CEP-3. The lid and the bottom dome have been grit blasted in preparation for the coating. Then, Belzona 1321 was applied as a two-coat system. The whole application took 4 hours to complete at a fraction of the cost, comparing to the purchase and installation of the new 316 ss apparatus.
Belzona Facts
This application was inspected in 6 months with no defects noted on the lid or dome. The solution is in tact today, enabling them to produce some of the finest quality mango atchar!
